Finova is a concept financial operations platform created to demonstrate how business finance workflows can be unified into a single, calm interface. The design focuses on clarity, auditability and speed.
The challenge
Finance teams often juggle disconnected spreadsheets and legacy tools. We explored a concept that reduces context switching by surfacing cash flow, payables and reporting in one workspace.
Our solution
We designed a modular dashboard with role-based views, automated reconciliation summaries and a clean data model that scales from a small team to a multi-entity organisation.
Architecture
A Next.js front end communicates with a Node.js service layer backed by MongoDB, deployed on AWS with infrastructure designed for horizontal scaling and observability.
